Kaiser Permanente Washington   2017 - 2023

Led art direction and design initiatives in partnership with Member Marketing, Experience, and Sales teams, supporting Medicare, medical facility programs, and corporate promotions across print and digital channels.

  • Directed and designed Medicare and non-Medicare sales materials, including enrollment packets, magazines, and direct mail programs for integrated print and digital experiences

  • Led art direction and design for print programs used in medical facilities, including wellness, pharmacy, and community awareness initiatives

Walgreens   2011 - 2016

Managed the Photo Studio team responsible for maintaining and supporting the product catalog (80,000–100,000 active items) for Walgreens.com, drugstore.com, Beauty.com, and VisionDirect.com.

  • Established image standards, optimized workflows, and led new initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across product imagery

  • Provided strategic direction for integrating multiple product catalogs following the addition of Walgreens.com in 2011

  • Co-architected and designed a custom user portal (2014) to manage product imagery, enabling quality review, revisions, and direct asset publishing

  • Provided leadership for the Creative team during a two-year Associate Creative Director vacancy, overseeing project trafficking, hiring, art direction, production management, and hands-on design work

  • Managed print vendor relationships to streamline handoff and production of print materials

  • Served as a liaison between Creative, User Experience, and IT teams during mobile site initiatives


Design Manager, Senior Visual Designer

drugstore.com (Acquired by Walgreens)   2006 - 2011

Led the team responsible for all product photography and marketing/promotional imagery for drugstore.com, Beauty.com, and VisionDirect.com.

  • Scaled the Photo Studio from a single photographer into a high-performing team of photographers and editors

  • Developed and mentored creative talent to build a world-class studio, fostering close collaboration with designers, writers, and business stakeholders

  • Contributed hands-on design support across in-house initiatives, including site promotions, in-house and third-party advertising, email campaigns, digital affiliate banners, social media and PR events, print materials, and supporting collateral

  • Collaborated daily with copywriters, photographers, and designers to support buyers, merchandisers, affiliate, retention, search, and senior marketing teams, consistently meeting and exceeding business objectives
